Examples of Common Unprofessional Work

Over Mulching
Over mulching and improper mulching techniques can lead to girdling roots, disease, and other related problems that will reduce your tree's potential life span.

Topping
Topping a tree is very harmful to the trees health and long term structural integrity. When a large branch is cut, growth becomes highly stimulated at the location of the wound, causing multiple, very fast growing branches to take the place of the original single branch. This causes overcrowding of the tree crown, preventing airflow which leads to disease and rot. Also, often times many weak unions are formed at the location of the cut, which can cause major structural failure down the road as more weight is placed on the weak unions. Overall a very unprofessional and careless technique that just causes problems.
